Artist's Description
The Blue Fungus Beetle, or Pleasing Fungus Beetle, can be found feeding on fungus on fallen logs and trees in the Forests of Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico and California. This particular beetle was seen during summer feeding on oyster mushrooms growing wild on a fallen log in the Workman Creek area near Young, Arizona.
