Throughout the month of March, Artist and Photographer Bonny Puckett will have four unique Artworks on display at the Fountain Hills Community Center. The display is part of the Fountain Hills Photography Clubs 2022 Exhibition, in which Puckett is among 13 artists displaying over 40 photographic artworks.

To create these unique pieces, Puckett uses a variety of photography techniques to capture a series of photographs, which are then combined using digital composite and collage techniques with a unique combination of digital finishes to create truly unique works of art. The complete artworks are designed to draw the viewer in to explore the piece while enticing their senses with multiple layers, hidden elements and meaningful messages. Each time the viewer looks at one of these pieces they can discover something new and intriguing.

Artist and Photographer, Bonny Puckett, won first place in a juried art contest for artworks that feature original photographs turned into pieces of fine art. Puckett's winning piece "Portree Mixed Media" is a digital mixed media collage featuring several original photographs taken by the artist and combined using artistic digital collage techniques and finishes. The result is a unique piece of travel art representing the waterfront village of Portree on the Isle of Skye in Scotland.

The juried art contest was sponsored by photographer Rebecca Herranen of California. According to Herranen she and her fellow jurists viewed the piece nearly a dozen times and each time they saw something new. "This piece just draws you in to explore" states Herranen. "Love the color pallette too."

Bonny Puckett, an Artist and Photographer based out of Fountain Hills, Arizona, has been recognized as Artist of the Week for the Sea and Nautical Images group of Fine Art America. Bonny focuses her art interests mostly on travel and landscape photography, however recently she has been exploring other artistic mediums and is enjoying working with watercolors, acrylics, and mixed media in both traditional and digital format.

Fountain Hills photographer and artist Bonny Puckett has been nominated for Best Landscape Photographer of 2020 by the Phoenix Chapter of Women Networking in Photography.

Her work focuses mostly on landscape, travel and wildlife photography, but she also works in acrylic on canvas, watercolor and mixed media in both traditional and digital art forms.

Puckett was honored to accept the nomination as a new member to the group within 2020. She stated "It is such an honor to be recognized by my peers within the photography community here in the Metro Phoenix area."
