Description
Steam rises from Seismograph pool along the West Thumb Geyser Basin Trail in Yellowstone National Park in late spring/early summer. Along the edges of the pool colorful algea begin to bloom in shades of orange,, yellow and green,, creating a rainbow effect that leads into the deep blue pool. Beyond the pin trees Yellowstone Lake sparkles in the distance.
