Artist's Description
In this expressive painting the artist uses multiple layers of paint, ink, and collage combined with various shades of blue to creature texture and movement of tumultuous ocean waves curling and crashing around themselves. Amongst these waves fish play, swim and jump along with the movement of the waves, expressing the sentiment that it is often easier and more fun to just go with the flow than trying to battle the tides of life.
The artist's skillful brushstrokes capture the raw energy and fluidity of the ocean, with each layer adding depth and dimension to the composition. The interplay of vibrant blues, ranging from tranquil cerulean to intense cobalt, evokes a sense of both calm serenity and dynamic motion.
