A Flame Skimmer, Libellula saturata, is a common dragonfly found throughout Western North America. This one is seen perched on an aloe plant at the Phoenix Desert Botanical Garden with the Chihuly glass sculpture of "The Sun" creating a beautiful bokeh background of oranges, reds and yellows.
