Coastal Tranquility offers an abstract view of ocean waves crashing along the shore. The use of a palette knife to apply slightly varying shades of turquoise blues gives lends this piece texture and motion reminiscent of gently cresting waves as they splash along a sandy beach. The abstract feel allows viewers to conjure their own memories of seaside escapades as they immerse themselves in the layers, textures and colors. This piece would be an excellent addition to any coastal home.
