Artist's Description
Beaver falls is one small section of spectacular waterfalls along the Havasu Creek on the Havasupai Indian Reservation in Arizona. The turquoise waters that flow through the canyon have high mineral content which over time have deposied stunning travertine terraces along the creek as it flows toward the confluence with the Colorado River in the Grand Canyon. This remote location is accessible only on foot via a strenuous hike and requires permits in advance from the Havasupai Indian Reservation.
