Description
Heart shapes can be found naturally occurring all around us, giving us little signs to guide us on our paths and remind us to love every precious moment of this life. This piece in the Love of Nature series represents a remote area of desert near the border between Utah & Arizona during the winter. A hiker in the remote area placed a heart shaped red rock on a the twisted trunk of a fallen tree for other hikers to see along the remote and barely visible trail.

I am with you Jane. The rustic wood is what draws me to this piece. I love wood in all its forms. Is this scenic beauty in Arizona or Utah? Marvelous piece!
Bonny Puckett replied:
Thank you so much Janet! I happened upon this scene just south of the Arizona/Utah border in the Coyote Buttes North area on my way to the Wave.

This is such a lovely and wonderful image. I love the heart shape, however it is the character and personality of the twisted wood that really sets this off so nicely. Beautiful capture! L/F Featured in American Desert Southwest.
