Description
Summertime in Northern Arizona is filled with the vivid greens of the forest and the vibrant colors of wildflowers in bloom. I found myself daydreaming on beautiful summer day as I contemplated the vibrant oranges, the dew drops and the shades of green all around the forest when photographing this Indian Paintbrush flower in the Apache-Sitgreaves National Forest near Heber/Overgard in Northern Arizona. This image is a digital photographic painting created using a variety of in camera and post processing techniques including macro, multiple exposures and more, to give the image a painterly look with a texture of canvas.
