Description
A view of the Lower Falls of the Yellowstone River is probably the most iconic waterfall in the Yellowstone National Park. The 308 foot waterfall spills into the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone. This view was captured from the stair on Uncle Tom's Trail which descends to the base of the Waterfall. From this angle you can almost always see a rainbow emanating from the falls. In this case it was a double rainbow. Despite this image being captured in June, snow still covers the ground in many areas of the park, including this trail.
